1 1/2 cups butter
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
7 egg yolks
7 egg whites
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup milk (regular)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour tube pan.
Cream sugar and butter in large bowl
Add egg yolks
Sift dry ingredients into butter mixture.. Alternate with milk
Add flavoring
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter..

Bake in 10" tube plan for 1 1/2 hours at 325.
To see if it is done by using the toothpick method, it should come out of the cake clean.
