CRUST:
½ cup butter softened
½ cup light brown sugar, packed
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder

FILLING:
4 eggs
⅔ cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup dark corn syrup
⅓ cup molasses
4 tbsp flour
1 ½ cups pecan halves
1 tbsp bourbon

GLAZE
½ cup apple jelly
1 tbsp bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Beat together butter and ½ brown sugar. Stir in flour and baking powder until crumbly. Press mixture into buttered 9” x 13” pan - only about half way up sides. Bake for about 15 minutes, checking so it is only slightly brown.

FILLING
While crust is baking, in mixing bowl, beat eggs, stir in ⅔ cup brown sugar, corn syrup, molasses, and flour. Blend well. Stir in pecans. Pour over hot baked crust.

Place in oven again and bake at 350° for about 18-22 minutes. Glaze when completed.

GLAZE
Microwave for about 40 seconds until apple jelly is liquid. After slightly cooling but still warm brush glaze on top of pecans bars.
