When we moved to Derby, KS in February 1987, our kids had a new set of local grandparents; Carol and Dwayne Rogers!! They were always ready to babysit or step in when Stan was out of town with work and I needed some help. That of course included Dwayne cooking up some chicken fried steak!! It was so tender and flavorful but beware you were responsible for cleaning up the kitchen afterward. We shared many meals together with them and the kids had a built in babysitter since Dwayne didn't work. Just had to make sure he wasn't hunting or fishing when we needed him! Miss you Dwayne!
