1/4 lb. butter
1 onion chopped
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 shakes of ground black pepper
1 or 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce
several generous shakes of garlic powder to taste
1 10 1/2 oz. can of minced clams, drained ( save liquid for later)
3/4 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
Parmesan Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In frying pan combine first 8 ingredients, heat and mix well. In glass bowl, combine minced clams, saved juice and Italian bread crumbs. Mix all together (Add more clam juice if mixture appears to dry). Pour mixture in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Heat in 350º oven for 30 minutes covered, then uncover for last 5 minutes. Serve with favorite crackers.
