2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (2/3 cup)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2-4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 - 2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup flour
4 cups water
1 dozen corn tortillas
1 cup black olives, sliced
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded

In large skillet, brown beef, onion and garlic. Drain. Add chili powder, oregano, salt and flour. Mix well. Add water and simmer until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place 3 tortillas in ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan, overlapping. Cover with 1/4 of meat mixture (about 2 cups). Top with 1/4 of olives and cheese. Repeat layers.

Bake at 300º for 30 minutes.
