1/4 c butter
1/2 c sugar
2 egg yolks
1 beaten egg
2 t ground cardamon
1/4 c heavy cream
2 c flour
1 t cornstarch ( it says 1 c, but think that is an error
1 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
cream sugar and butter until sugar crystal have disappeared. Beat in cream. Sift together flour cornstarch and baking soda. Add to batter and mix. On floured board roll dough to 1/4 in thick. Cut into 1 by 2 inches. In each piece make a crosswise cut about 3/4 inches from each end. Pull the ends to make a curve. Bake on a greased sheet at 350º for 15 min or til
golden.
