1 pkg. yeast
2 T warm water
1 C milk
¼ C sugar
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
2 T oil
3-3 ½ C flour
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. Heat milk. Add sugar, salt, and nutmeg. Stir until sugar dissolves.
3. Cool to warm; add to yeast.
4. Add beaten egg, oil, and 1 cup of flour. Beat until smooth.
5. Add 2-2 ½ cups of flour until soft dough forms. Do not knead.
6. Let rise until double in size; knead 4-5 times.
7. Roll and cut into 3x2 rectangles. Let rise for 30 minutes.
8. Heat oil to 375˚. Fry; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
