Directions:
Dissolve yeast and sugar in 1/2 cups warm water. Set in warm place till frothy.

In bowl mix 4 1/4 cups water, potatoes, pumpkin, salt, rye flour, all bran, whole wheat flour, molasses and mix. Add yeast mixture and mix. Let rise till double. Add remaining flour just enough to come off hands when kneading or off the sides of the bowl if using machine. Knead for a while and then 5 minutes more.

Make into loaves and let rise till double in size. This can be in the oven with the light on or away from any drafts on counter. Bake 350 for 45min to 1 hour until golden. If you are unsure that the bread is cooked take your finger or fist and listen for a hollow sound when tapped.

NOTES:

This recipe came from the old country with Big Fat Gido and his lovely wife Baba Grigoreshenko. They shortened their name after arriving in Canada.
