3 cups chicken broth made with granules
½ cup margarine
¼ tsp minced garlic
½ cup SLICED almonds
4 oz can of sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 cup washed wild rice

Directions:
Directions:
Soak wild rice in water for at least a couple of hours, changing water several times to “wash” the rice and soften it before cooking.
Melt margarine in a large frying pan. Add all other ingredients EXCEPT broth to the pan and sauté for about 20 minutes.
Pour into casserole dish. Place in refrigerator now if making ahead.
Pour broth over right before baking. Bake at 350º for 1½ hours.
