- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 quart tomato
- 2 cups sauerkraut, lightly drained
- 3/4 cup rice
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 large bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger with garlic. Add onions and cook until onions are tender. Add tomatoes, sauerkraut, bay leaf & rice. Bring to boil and simmer until rice is tender (approximately one hour).
