1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. hot breakfast sausage (I use Jimmy Deen)
1 can tomato soup
1 large green pepper, diced
1 large yellow onion, diced
2 tsp. chili powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 stalk of saltine crackers, crushed
slices of bacon &
ketchup for top

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Mix everything but bacon & ketchup together
put into loaf pans & squirt ketchup over the top completely covering the meat mixture. Put slices of bacon on top and bake about an hour for large loaf pans & 45 minutes for mini loaf pans.

Funny story....I got this from my Mammaw in the early 80's, and always called it "her" meatloaf. I found out about 20 yrs. later that she had never even made it before!! This is all of my family's favorite, and I can't begin to tell you how many I've made. Freezes great too.My dad loves it the next day for meatloaf sandwiches!
