3 cups pecans
3 cups sugar
3 eggs well beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter
1 large coconut
1 teaspoon cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and juice from large coconut (if not a full cup add water for 1 cup). Cook until soft boil stage. Take from stove and add well beaten eggs, grated coconut and chopped pecans. Place back on stove and cook until thick. Pour into well greased pan. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees or until brown. Cut into squares when cool.
