2/3 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
¼ cup of molasses
2 cups of flour
2/3 of a teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of ginger

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix oil, sugar, egg and molasses in a large bowl.

In another bowl, sift dry ingredients together.

Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

Make balls of dough the size of walnuts.

Roll each ball in sugar to coat.

Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
