1 cup roux
2 large onions, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 16 oz can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp dried whole thyme
1 tsp red pepper
1 bay leaf
4 can chicken broth
2 lb med shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb fresh crab meat
2 to 3 dozen crab claws
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
hot rice, cooked

Directions:

Simmer about 1 1/2 to 2 hours
top with chopped fresh parsley and chopped green onions.
