2 1/4 c.flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, creaming well. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in sifted dry ingredients gradually. Stir in dates and nuts. Drop by round teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-14 minutes. Frost with browned butter frosting while warm. Makes 4 dozen.
