1 can of Beer
1 cup flour
1 egg
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
Pepper to taste if desired

Directions:

Mix the above ingredients until smooth and without lumps. Cut de-boned fillets of fish (Northern Pike work great) into 6 inch lengths. Mix flour, salt & pepper in a plastic bag and put fish in the flour. Shake well until all the fish is adequately covered with flour mix. Then dip in batter and deep fry in oil until batter is golden brown. Guaranteed to please even the pickiest fish eater.
