1/2 cup Nuts (chopped)
1 1/2 cups Oatmeal
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 cups Flour
1 cup Shortening
1/4 tsp. Soda

Filling:
3 cups Rhubarb
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 tbsp. Corn Starch
1/4 cup Water
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first seven ingredients until crumbly. Put 1/2 of mixture into 9x13 pan.

Place rhubarb into bowl and pour 1 cup cold water over it. Let stand a few minutes. Drain. Mix sugar, corn starch, water and vanilla. Add drained rhubarb. Pour over crumbs. Cover with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
