3 tbs yeast
220 g. milk (lukewarm)

750 - 1000 g. of Damsons (plums)
for your own taste (about 250 g.) sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients except for the plums
2. Knead the dough then rest the dough for an hour or two until the dough has doubled in size
3. Place the dough on a baking pan
4. While you are waiting for the dough to rise prepare the damsons
5. Cut them in half and remove the stone or seed
6. Put the damson halves, the inside up, on the dough on the tray with no space in between the damsons (so that you can barely see the dough)
7. Preheat oven to 390º and bake the dough for about 20 minutes
8. When you take the pan our of the oven spread sugar immediately over the whole cake ( the amount depends on how sour the fruits are and how sweet you like it)
9. Let the cake cool down, cut it in pieces 3 X 3. Enjoy with sweet whipped creme or vanilla ice cream.
