2 pounds fresh sliced mushrooms
1/2 to 3/4 of a pound of bacon
2 tablespoons of cornstarch (optional)
one large bunch of fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
slice the fresh mushrooms into a bowl of cold water. Let them soak for about one half hour and rinse with fresh water, while waiting, chop the parsley.

Slice or dice the bacon and fried in a skillet until brown (do not burn)

Drain the mushrooms and add to the bacon and along with the chopped parsley in the skillet. Cover and heat on LOW heat for about 15 min. turn the heat off and let the dish set for about 30 min. When ready to eat turn the heat up to medium and thick and with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch (optional). Season with pepper and salt to taste
