Ingredients:  
1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and extract. Combine flour and salt and add to mixture. Mix well.

Put into cookie press and press out onto ungreased cookie sheet. If desired sprinkle with colored sugar.

Bake at 375º for 6-9 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.

You can substitute different extracts such as lemon, orange, coconut. You can also add food coloring for different colored cookies.
