2 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c lard
1/2 c butter or oleo (cut into 1/2 T squares
1/4 or 1/2 c milk (ck notes below)

Directions:
*In 2 c flour add1/4 tsp salt. Then add 1/2 c lard and 1/2 c butter or oleo (cut into 1/2 T squares)

*mix into little pea size peaces.

*if the butter and lard are soft before hand then add 1/2 c milk

*if the butter and lard are hard then use 1/4 cu milk

*If it ends up sticky after mixing add a little bit of flour

*Dont work too hard. Roll into a ball and let rest for about 15 minutes

This recipe has been used my Grandma Walters and Grandma Potter for may years and is the only one used for family gatherings

Not sure where this came from but we have been using it for years
