1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt plus a dash
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkgs. active dry yeast
2 eggs, beaten
4 1/2 c. flour

Filling:
softened margarine
brown sugar
cinnamon

Frosting:
4 T. margarine
3 c. powdered sugar
milk to thin
maple extract

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk. Stir in sugar, salt and margarine. Cool to lukewarm. Measure warm water into large warm bowl. Sprinkle in yeast and stir until dissolved. Stir in lukewarm milk mixture, beaten eggs and half the flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour to make a slightly stiff dough. Turn dough out onto lightly floured board. Knead until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch down and turn out on lightly floured board. Divide dough in half. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Spread dough with softened margarine. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon and spread around. Roll up and cut into rolls with sharp knife or scissors. Place rolls on greased cookie sheet. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Let cool slightly and then frost.
