Directions:
Preheat oven 350º F. Insert a big aluminum tray with at least 1 inch of water on it. The baking pan must be at least 3 inches high since must be submerged in the water.

Caramel: Heat a fry pan with the sugar on it and stir until the sugar gets light brown, remove from the stove.

Flan: Mix the ingredients for the flan in the blender (until the mix is consistent).

Cake: Mix the ingredients for the chocolate cake in a bowl (until the mix is consistent).

Grease the cake pan with the spray and then pour the caramel in the bottom, next the flan mix and add the cake mix at the end. Cover the pan completely with aluminum foil.

Bake for one hour or until a kitchen knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the pan to cool for an hour then put it in the refrigerator for three hours. Once cold the Choco-Flan is ready to remove from the pan.

After removing it from the baking pan and serve must be refrigerated.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The Choco-Flan is a Chocolate Cake with Flan on top. Therefore, when you slice it you will get a delicious bicolored slice (brown and yellow).
Flan is a Mexican dessert (baked custard).

Caramel:
The sugar in the process to be caramel will get very hot. Please be extra careful while cooking it!
