Ingredients:  
1. Sift: 2 cups sugar
2 cups (plain) flour

2. Mix: 1 stick butter
1 cup (Wesson) oil
1 cup water
4 tablespoons cocoa

Boil 2 or 3 minutes and add hot mixture to dry ingredients.

3. Dissolve: 1 teaspoon baking soda into 1/2 cup buttermilk and add to mixture.

4. Beat: 1 teaspoon vanilla and add to mixture.

ICING:
1 stick butter
4 tablespoons cocoa
4 to 6 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
Bring to a slow boil and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Add 1 box confectioners' powdered sugar.
