2 Tbsp. or 2 packages dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 1/2 c. buttermilk, warmed
1/2 c oil
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour (6 1/4)

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk, oil and sugar. Beat until blended. Add eggs, blend. Add salt, baking soda and 3 cups flour. Beat 1 minute. Add remaining flour and beat until very smooth. Cover and let rise in warm place for 15 minutes. Kneed down and either form into rolls and let rise to bake for dinner rolls or continue on for cinnamon rolls.
Bake at 350ºF till brown.

Cinnamon Rolls
Roll out to 1/2" thick. Cover with soft butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon, very little nutmeg - if desired, and brown sugar. (add raisins if desired). Roll up and cut to 1/2' - 3/4' thick. Put in prepared pan and let rise about 30 minutes. Bake at 350ºF till brown. Turn out of pan immediately. Frost as desired. (Powdered sugar & water)

--To prepare pan:
Grease WELL a 9x13' pan. Place slices of butter in bottom. Cover with dark Karo syrup. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts.
