5 cups of water
1 t. salt
1 1/4 cups uncooked quick cooking grits
8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
8 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup half and half
1 t. butter
1/4 t. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 5 cups water to a boil in a saucepan. Gradually whisk in grits and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes- stirring occasionally. Stir in cheeses and remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
