1/2 to 3/4 lbs. round steak
2 Tbsp. flour, divided
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
14 oz. can tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped carrot
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Coat pounded meat with 1 Tbsp. flour and salt on both sides; brown in oil in pan. Transfer to a greased baking dish.

Add remaining ingredients. except for cheese, to the original pan. Bring to a boil on medium heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes.

Pour over mean, cover and bake at 350º for 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender.

Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted.

Serve sauce with rice or noodles.

*Mom/Grandma does not add cheese to her recipe.
