2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water
3 T. water
3 T. cocoa
2 eggs, well beaten
1 t. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Sift flour and measure.
Resift flour with sugar and salt.
In a saucepan, put oleo, shortening, water, and cocoa.
Bring to a boil and pour over flour and sugar mixture.
In another bowl put eggs, soda, buttermilk, and vanilla.
Add to above mixture and mix well.
Bake in a greased and floured shallow cake pan. (15 1/2 x 10 1/1 x 1)
Bake for 20 minutes at 350º.
Start icing the last 5 minutes cake is baking.
