3 package active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water
7 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/1/2 cups shortening
3 cups warm cooked, mashed sweet potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Combine yeast and warm water in a small bowl, let stand for 5 minutes. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar in large bowl, cut in
shortening with pastry blended or fork until mixture is crumbly. Add yeast mix-
ture and sweet potatoes, stirring until dry ingredient moistened. Turn dough
out onto a lightly floured surface, kneading for 5 minutes. Place dough in lightly
greased bowl turning to grease cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight,if
desired.
Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness, cut with a 2 inch cookie cutter for each biscuit. Please on ungreased baking sheets, cover and let rise in warm place.
About 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
