2 lbs. stew meat cut into 1 inch pieces
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. red wine
1 can (4 oz) mushrooms drained
1/4 c. quick cooking tapioca (optional)

Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on LOW 8 - 10 hours. Serve over noodles or rice. Garnish with dollop of sour cream.
