3 eggs
1/2 tsp. anise
2 tsps. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup butter melted and cooled
3/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs & sugar. Add cooled butter and vanilla and anise. Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Batter will be stiff enough to be dropped by spoon. Cook 1 to 2 minutes until light brown. Remove with metal spatula and place on cookie sheet to cool for abour 30 minutes.
Optional: Dust with powder sugar.
Store in cookie tin to keep crisp will last up to a week in air tight container.

Thin, crisp and delicious - need a Pizzelle Iron and make sure it's hot.
