1C. shortening
2C. sugar
2 eggs
1tsp. vanilla
1tsp. salt
2tsp. baking soda
4 1/2C. flour
1C. sour cream (1 lb.)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl; combine salt, baking soda, and flour. Keep sour cream separate. Alternate mixing flour mixture and sour cream into sugar. Blend well. Roll out 1/2 inch or less and cut out cookies. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
