1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 T. light corn syrup
2 T. water
2 tsp. vanilla extract (3 if using imitation vanilla)
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the corn syrup, water and vanilla/ In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually stir in to peanut butter mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until cookies are light golden brown. Cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet before removing to wire racks to cool completely. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
