1 small loaf unsliced bread
½ c. butter or margarine
Dash cayenne
1 t. celery seed
¼ tsp paprika

Directions:
Trim crust from top sides and end of loaf. Cut one slice down the center of the loaf lengthwise almost to the bottom. Cut crosswise at 1” intervals almost to the bottom crust. Combine remaining ingredients . Spread over all surfaces. Place on baking sheet. Heat at 400 for 15-18 minutes until golden. This can be stored in the refrigerator up to 5 days before baking. Use crusts for garlic bread or spread with ½ c. butter or margarine, 1 T. grated onion and ½ t. poultry seasoning and bake for a different flavor.
