1 Gallon Dill or Sour Pickles, whole
2 cups Tarragon Vinegar
10 cups sugar
9 T Pickling Spice
1 t. cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Slice pickles and put back into the jar or a large bowl, drain juice. Mix together sugar, vinegar and pepper. Pour over pickles. Tie pickling spices in cheese cloth and put on top of pickles. Let set for 4 hours, stirring several times. Put in refrigerator for 4 days. Remove spices and throw away. Put pickles in jars. Keep in refrigerator until used.
