6 cups sugar
2 cups light corn syrup
1- 13 oz can and 1- 6 oz. can evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. toasted coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup, milk and butter over low heat until it becomes a medium hard ball. Beat until it begins to stiffen, then add vanilla, nuts, and coconut. Pour into lightly buttered 11x15x3" pan to cool. Cut into pieces and place in air-tight container. Keeps indefinitely and improves with age.
