Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 1/2 cup shortening 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 egg 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp.salt 1 ( 6 oz. ) package white chocolate flavored baking bars, cut into chunks 1 ( 7 oz. ) jar macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped

Directions:Beat butter and shortening at medium speed of an electric mixer until soft and creamy; gradually add sugars, beating well. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in white chocolate chunks and nuts. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks, and let cool completely. |
