2 large English cucumbers
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vinegar
1 red or sweet onion sliced
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. fresh dill chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Slice cucumbers thin and place in a glass bowl, sprinkle with salt and vinegar. Cover with saran wrap and let stand for 30 minutes in refrigerator. Pour off excess liquid and add the remaining ingredients. Place back in the refrigerator. Mom recommends making a day ahead and stirring every few hours if possible.
