Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil
1 cup sliced almonds
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
3 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a standing mixer, cream together butter and sugar
Add oil, eggs, vanilla and almond extracts and nuts
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder
Add flour mixture to mixer and mix to combine
Cover and chill for 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 350º

Divide chilled dough into 2 pieces and roll each into a log and flatten slightly to approximately 1/2 inch thick. Place each log onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or sill pat. Bake each log for approximately 20 minutes until the logs are cooked through and golden brown.

Remove from oven and let cool slightly. With a serrated knife, slice on a diagonal and place them cut side down on the cookie sheet and return to the oven to toast - about 10-15 minutes more - turning them over halfway through.
