2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cube butter or margarine
3 tbsp. cocoa
3 cups quick cook oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 - 1 cup nuts (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, milk, butter and cocoa into a kettle. Bring to a boil and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat and quickly add oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Stir well. Drip by teaspoon full on waxed paper. let stand 1/2 hour until dry.

HINT: Have oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla already measured out before bringing mixture to a boil. You have to work fast or it cools to fast to get them dropped onto the wax paper.
