1/2 C crisco
3 eggs
2 C Flour
11/2 C sugar
1/4 t salt
1t vanilla
2 T cocoa
1 C buttermilk
2 bottles red food coloring
1 t vinagar
1 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Whip crisco, eggs,sugar,and vanilla until creamy. Slowly add food color,until well blended. In another bowl combine cocoa, salt, flour, stir with a whisk. Add to first mixture alternately with buttermilk, ending with dry mixture, mix well. Add baking soda and vinegar, fold in. Pour into 3 8" prepared pans. Bake in 350 oven for 20 min. or tooth pick comes out clean.
