Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1-3/4 cup flour
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ cup shortening
½ cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 TBSP milk
48 milk chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except the candy kisses. Form balls using rounded teaspoons full for each cookie. Roll balls in additional sugar, place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and top each cookie with a chocolate candy kiss, pressing firmly into each cookie so cookie cracks at edges. Remove each cookie from pan onto a cooling rack. Store in air tight container.
