1 lean beef roast (3-4 lbs)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
1 bay leaf
3 to 4 peppercorns
1 tsp. dried rosemary
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
1 loaf French bread, cut into thick slices or hard rolls

Directions:
Place roast in crock pot. Combine all other ingredients, except the bread, and pour over the roast. Add enough water to almost cover the roast. Cover and cook in crock pot on low heat 10-12 hours. Shred meat with a fork. Serve on bread slices or hard rolls. Use the juice in the crock pot for dipping sauce.
