Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pie pumpkin
1 c. milk
1 c. water
half cooked rice and equal pieces diced bread (no definite amount because these ingredients depend on the size of the pie pumpkin)
2 - 3 sticks of celery, chopped
leftover ground beef/pork/lamb or other cooked meats (if you use any unground meat, cut up in cubes)
raisins, cranberries, or apples
1 cup of brown sugar or half a cup of brown sugar and honey or maple syrup spice to taste as you please.....curry, ginger, cumin, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 400 degrees.

Cut the top off your pumpkin and clean it of seeds. Pour milk into the bottom of the pumpkin. Mix all other ingredients in a large bowl. Really stir it up good. Pack filling into pumpkin. Pack it solidly to help the pumpkin retain its shape as it cooks. Put lid back on the pumpkin.

Place pumpkin in an oven dish with about an inch of water to keep bottom from burning. Cover the top with tin foil to keep it from burning as well.

Your house will smell wonderful. When it's dine, simply slice it open like you would a pie, and eat the stuffing on top of the pumpkin inside, leaving the now softened shell for the garbage.
