stock pot
1 lb hamburger
1 lb buffalo burger
2 - 15-20oz cans each of the following: red kidney beans, dark red kidney beans, pinto beans, and diced tomatoes.
2 pkgs of Williams brand chili seasoning (gluten free)
1-2 tbsp of the following seasonings: chili powder & crushed red peppers
season to taste: celery salt, minced garlic, garlic salt.
1 32oz (big can) Hunt's tomato sauce
1 large onion (diced)
We use the Shurfine and Hunts brand so this recipe is gluten free and corn free.
toppings: crackers and cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown burger then add 1c. water. Do not drain the meat.
Add all the seasonings and onion as the meat cooks. Then add tomatoes and sauce.
Add beans, drain but do not rinse.
Depending on how thick you like chili add 1-2 cups water.
Bring to boil then turn down to simmer and simmer for about an hour.

Top with cheese and crackers or sour cream. Our favorite desert is pineapple and ice cream afterwards. Pineapple goes great with Mexican dishes.
