3 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tarter
red and green decor sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until frost starts to appear. Add salt and cream of tarter; beat for 5 minutes or until soft peaks form. Add half the sugar, beat for 5 minutes, add remaining sugar and beat 5 minutes more. take 1/2 the mixture and add red food coloring. Add green food coloring to other 1/2 mixture. Cover cookie sheet with brown paper bag. Drop 1 tsp on cookie sheet, sprinkle with decor sugar. Bake at 250º F for 1 hour until firm but not brown. Let cool, then remove.
Makes 26-40 cookies.
