2 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. finely chopped raw onion or 1 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 c. finely diced cooked potatoes
1 pkg. (10 oz) frozen whole kernel corn or 1 can (12 oz) whole kernel corn
2 tsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. salt or salt to taste
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 can (7 oz) frozen soup oysters with liquor or 1 cup fresh soup oysters with liquor.
Soda crackers or pilot crackers.

Put the first 7 ingredients in a 3 quart saucepan or soup kettle. Cook, covered until very hot. Stir in oysters and oyster liquor and simmer until oysters are plump and the edges begin to curl.
Serve with soda crackers or pilot crackers
