5 egg yolks
3 tablespoons of sugar
5 tablespoons of sour cream
1 jigger of rum, whiskey or brandy
2 cups of regular flour
Oil or Crisco deep enough to fry
Powder Sugar to coat after cool

Directions:
Directions:
Beat Egg yolks mix egg and sugar to a creamy consistency. Add sour cream and rum. Add flour a little at a time and mix.

Fry in Crisco. Add 1/2 tsp of rum to crisco while its melting

Cover with Powder sugar when cool

My Busia use to make these on special days. The trick is making sure the oil is at the correct temperature and that you will have to work with. Its too late to ask my mother or Busia. Maybe 350. Trial & error.
