2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion
1 green pepper(optional)
8 oz. tomato sauce
8 oz. water
1 T. chili powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. cumin
2 cloves garlic
1 can kidney beans

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef & onion, drain, add rest of ingredients and let simmer.
If you want a little more kick to it, throw in a couple of whole chili peppers and remove before serving.

Given this recipe by a friend from Oklahoma; they typically don't put beans in their chili, and usually served with fresh corn bread.
