1 lb ground beef no more than 20% fat
1 cup plain bread crumbs or Italian bread crumbs
1 egg slightly beaten
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1/4 ketchup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp. Italian seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º F. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Take mixture and create a loaf in a baking dish.

Bake uncovered for about 45 min, until meat is brown in the center. Sprinkle additional salt and pepper on top of loaf after 45 min and pour ketchup over the top.

Bake additional 10 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. The entire family will love it!!
